Dr. Chang uses a CO2 laser that works by removing deeper layers of the damaged skin while stimulating the regeneration of a healthy layer underneath. The laser technology uses pulsed Fc, or scattered light beams, to remove the dead skin cells. Dr. Chang is AMAZING. What to Expect After CO2 Laser

Patients can return home the same day after CO2 laser treatment. Patients are discharged with a facial dressing, which is usually left on for the first night. When removed the next day, the skin will have a sun-burned appearance. This will last from four to seven days, depending on the depth of exfoliation performed. During this time, patients are given detailed aftercare instructions on how to care for their skin. A new layer of skin appears in four to seven days
