"I have had three procedures completed by Dr. Chang and am over the moon with all of the results! She is the perfect balance of both professional and personable, and I felt completely confident and at ease after my very first consultation with her.
On February 7th I had a breast augmentation, which took place after multiple consultations with Dr. Chang and many discussions as to the aesthetic I was trying to achieve. I am a petite framed individual and was mindful of not wanting my breasts to look obviously fake or 'done'. I gathered lots of photos to share with Dr. Chang as examples of breast augmentations that I liked, and breasts that I did not want my own to look like as a result of the surgery. She was totally welcoming of all the examples I could bring and roundabout descriptions of what I was looking to achieve.
The surgery itself went incredibly well and all the staff, nurses and doctors at the surgery center were phenomenal! From the moment I arrived I felt completely taken care of and had all of my last minute questions and concerns addressed. My recovery was very much as I expected; there was a level of discomfort, but nothing that was too difficult to manage. The after-care provided by Dr. Chang and the whole Cassileth team was consistent and thorough, and I had daily check-ins from my nurse via the Clara app. Knowing that I could shoot through a message at any time and that I had a whole team available to support me was incredibly comforting. I am now past 3 months from having my breast augmentation, and absolutely adore my new boobs! To me, they are the perfect size per the aesthetic I was looking for, and I finally feel as if I have the breasts I was always supposed to have.
Four weeks later, again after multiple consultations with Dr. Chang, I underwent another two procedures - under eye blepharoplasty and a chin implant. Both procedures took place in the one surgery. Of all three procedures, I was most nervous about the under eye blepharoplasty as I had to use prescription eye drops multiple times a day as part of the recovery, and I absolutely abhor eye drops. I was warned that my eyes would potentially feel itchy and irritated by the internal self-dissolving stitches, and that the eyedrops would provide relief. I used the eye drops as advised, but truly felt almost zero irritation. I bruise incredibly easily, so was expecting to have two completely black eyes, but this was not the case at all. Dr. Chang is incredibly delicate and particular with her work, and as a result I experienced very minimal bruising and swelling. Having both the blepharoplasty and chin implant done in the same surgery was fantastic and meant that I could recover from both simultaneously.
The recovery from the chin implant surgery was smooth and not especially painful. I took the prescribed pain medication the day of the surgery (Friday) but did not feel the need to take anything for pain after that. There was some bruising, a little swelling and mild discomfort when eating, so I ate soft foods for about two days, and then basically returned to my regular diet after that.
Following both sets of surgery, I have had multiple follow up appointments to check in and ensure that my recovery is on track, which it has been. I love these appointments as well as I get to go into the Cassileth office and it feels like you're visiting old friends!
Dr. Chang is an incredibly gifted surgeon, but more than that, she has impeccable bedside manner, and the ability to make her patients feel heard, understood and completely at ease. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Chang without hesitation."
